Subaru is famous for its high-speed cars, but it has also provided us with some of the best
pick-up trucks that hold all the efficient features in their segment. One of them is the
fourth-generation Subaru Forester that was launched in the year 2012 in Guangzhou Motor
Show for production in 2013.
Subaru Forester: Fourth Generation
This fourth-generation model of Forester comes with Variable Transmission. It was
equipped with decreased towing capacity across all of its trim levels. Apart from that, it has
a high-torque CVT that comes with steering wheel paddle shifter controls. It was also
equipped with a sport-oriented suspension that comes with 18-inch wheels. The chassis
bracing makes it quite adaptable while driving in turns. These features are responsible for
effective handling and superior control.
This model has all the practical mechanisms that help to get an increased fuel economy.
Apart from all the other features, the spacious cabin of this model makes it quite
comfortable. The rear seat comes with a legroom of 41.7 inches and with 74.7 cubic feet
rear cargo volume. When it comes to the interior, this model has gained optimal crash

One of the innovative and new features was also introduced that is known as X mode that
helps the owners to drive in extreme conditions. It is based upon the fact that the car can be
driven safely regardless of skill level or the condition of the road. In a nutshell, this X mode
works by considering the wheel-slip on all four wheels. Apart from this specific feature, it
has also Pre-Collision Braking System, Pre-Collision Throttle Management, Adaptive Cruise
