Opel Automobile GmbH is German automotive concern with headquarters in Rüsselsheim am Main. It has been founded in 1862, and from 1929 till 2017 it was a subsidiary of American multinational corporation General Motors. Due to financial issues Opel has been sold in 2017 and it has been taken over by Groupe PSA – French automotive concern. In United Kingdom Opel is sold under the brand named Vauxhall. Opel and Vauxhall together are present in more than 60 countries all over the world. Currently it offers wide variety of passenger cars in almost all segments and due to decent prices Opel's cars find a broad range of customers.
