Hyundai Motor Company which is also known as Hyundai Motors is a popular name in
the automobile industry. It is a South Korean multinational automobile company with
its headquarters in Seoul.
The company is 52 years and was founded in 1967 by Chung Ju-Yung. They are known
to operate the largest integrated automobile manufacturing in the world which is
located in Ulsan, South Korea.
They specialise in all sorts of vehicles including electric and hybrid ones. But we are
here to talk about Hyundai Sonata VI YF which is a mid-size car. The Sonata car range is
manufactured by the company since 1985.
Hyundai Sonata VI YF: 2010 to 2014
Hyundai Sonata VI YF is a mid-size car that was first manufactured in 2010. However,
the production didn’t last long as it came to end in 2014.
Hyundai YF is a fourth-generation car of the Sonata series. It was marketed in Eastern
Europe, South Korea, and North America. The US version of Hyundai Sonata VI YF was
first revealed at the 2009 Los Angeles Auto Show.
The car featured a 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine. The new engine was developed for
fuel-efficiency. It produced a maximum of 200 PS. at 6300 rpm.
It was made with hot-stamped, high-strength steel. The fuel efficiency of the car was
improved by 11%.
The South Korean model featured a three-piece panoramic moon-roof, fender-mounted
turn signals, and electroluminescent instrumentation. It also had an upgraded audio
system from JBL. The navigation system was equipped with a telecommunications
system.
In 2013, the car model was slightly changed by the makers. They included a new heated
front and rear seats. Along with that, the car was also equipped with an automatic
transmission.
Hyundai Sonata VI YF was a good looking car. It was designed for a smooth riding
