Information about the model

When it comes to giant car companies in the world, Toyota Motor Corporation occupies the second spot. The company was founded by Kiichiro Toyoda in 1937. They have their headquarters located in Toyota, Aichi, Japan.

Toyota cars are known for their good looks and performance. The maker's design each model keeping in mind the comfort of users. The best thing about Toyota is that they manufacture all varieties of cars, ranging from sports cars to off-road vehicles to even pickup trucks.

But in this post, we are here to talk about the Toyota Avalon II XX20. This model is a part of the second generation Avalon series, the production of which was started in 2000 and ended in 2004.

Toyota Avalon II (XX20): 2000 to 2004

Toyota Avalon II (XX20) is one of the finest Avalon models ever made by the company. It was first manufactured in 2000 and it continued till 2004, after which the company started making the third generation Avalon vehicles.

Toyota Avalon II (XX20) was a car that grew larger in every aspect. However, it retained the same wheelbase as the earlier models. Avalon's second-gen cars were bases on the Camry platform and were backed by a 3.0 litre engine equipped with VVT-i. The Avalon II cars were available in two trims including the XLS and XL. These cars were loaded with lots of good features like the 4-wheel disc, 15 inches allow wheels, front torso side airbags, and electroluminescent Optitron gauges.

The second-gen Avalon also featured a built-in 115 V AC power inverter. It was the first car to have such a feature. However, the company didn’t continue this feature in the third generation.

Later, they added a new grille and newly designed taillights and headlights in the 2003 model.

Toyota Avalon II (XX20) is a full-size, comfortable car equipped with all the right features. It’s sad they no longer have these cars available in the market.
