recently revealed the third generation of Renault Kangoo on 12th November 2020.
Renault Kangoo II: 2007 to 2021
Renault Kangoo II is the second generation of multipurpose vehicles manufactured by
Renault. The production of Renault Kangoo II was started in 2007 and it will continue
till 2021. This range of cars includes both passenger and commercial variants.
One of the most popular car models is the Renault Kangoo Z.E. It is a top-selling model
in the European market. It is a light commercial vehicle with global sales of 48,821 units
since 2011.
Renault Kangoo II is based on the Scenic and manufactured in Maubeuge. It was first
marketed in May 2007. The company even introduced a seven-seat model which was
40cm long in 2012.
They are sold by Mercedes-Benz as the Mercedes-Benz Citan, with a revised front design
in 2012. However, the company stopped the production of Kangoo Espace, MPV, Modus,
Wind, and Laguna in the US.
In 2013, the company introduced both passenger and van versions with a facelifted
design. In 2018, they announced that Nissan would rebadge the Kangoo into NV250.
Renault Kangoo II is available in three wheelbase configurations including the Kangoo
Express, the Kangoo Express Maxi, and the Kangoo Compact. All these are passenger
variants.
