Do you want your car not only to look beautiful but also to have comprehensive protection? To achieve this, you can use ceramic coating, which will allow you to get the dream effect, beautiful shiny paint. It has much more benefits like UV protection, chemical stains protection, ease of cleaning, etc. But how to do it? Can you do it yourself?

Applying a ceramic coating

The answer is yes! However, you will need to make some special preparations. It is not very complicated, but it is worth knowing a few important things. The process itself can be divided into 5 stages. Before you start applying the coating, make sure that the surface of the car is completely dry and the place where you are going to do it is dry or shaded and the temperature is between 10 and 35 degrees Celsius.

The first step is to properly degrease the surface of the car. Then shake the bottle with the preparation and apply 6-8 drops on a dry satin microfiber wrapped on the applicator. Remember, the first moistening of the microfiber should be generous.

Note: Apply the coating crosswise and one at a time on surfaces no larger than 50x50cm.

The point is to apply the product to small areas at a time, so you can avoid the problems and difficulties associated with polishing that might occur with larger surfaces.

The next step is to observe the ceramic coating. After about 2 minutes at 20 degrees celsius, the color should change. At this stage, the most important thing is to start polishing the ceramic coating with a microfiber cloth as soon as it starts to shimmer. However, keep in mind that this time may be shortened at higher ambient temperatures and lengthened at lower temperatures. You must not allow the ceramic coating to dry on the varnish.

After applying and polishing the first ceramic coat, wait about 1 hour and repeat all the steps except the first one, which was degreasing the surface. The highest durability and best effect will be achieved by applying 3 ceramic coats. Remember to maintain the ceramic coating on a regular basis, which will allow you to enjoy it for up to 5 years. Such maintenance should be done once every six months or once every quarter. Good luck!
